About this service
When you move home, you can't know how many copies of the old keys are out there – previous owners, tenants, builders, agents and friends. Changing the locks is a simple, affordable way to know that only you have access.
We supply and fit euro cylinders, nightlatches, mortice locks and uPVC door cylinders. Wherever possible we fit locks that meet British Standards so they satisfy the terms of most home insurance policies.
We can fit your new locks keyed alike, so one key opens the front and back doors, and supply extra keys on the day.

Tell us your address, what has happened and what lock or door you have. We give you a quote over the phone before anyone sets off.

The nearest available local locksmith is sent to you. We tell you an expected arrival time when you call.

Assessed and fixed
We check your current locks, recommend the right replacement for your door and insurance, and fit it there and then.

Checked and handed over
We test the lock and door with you, hand over the keys and explain what was done before you pay.

Should I change the locks when I move?
Yes. You don't know how many copies of the old keys exist, so changing them is a simple way to stay secure.
Can you fit locks that meet insurance requirements?
Yes. We can fit British Standard locks and anti-snap cylinders that meet most insurers' conditions. Check your policy and tell us what it says.
How long does a lock change take?
A single standard lock usually takes 20–40 minutes. We'll tell you how long when we see your door.
Do I get new keys?
Yes. New locks come with keys, and we can supply extras or cut keyed-alike sets.
